right after they both are like OKAY amity kinda clasps her hands like this and rubs her thumb over her hand

luz can be seen for a brief moment looking down at amity’s hand

before she herself reaches out to take amity’s hand

which leads to the lill thumb rub from luz

i’ve seen posts here and there talking about how in tune luz is with other people’s emotions or needs or whatnot (i can’t remember exactly which posts those are cause i’m not as involved with fandom) but like yeah i just think this is a really good showcase of that bc like, idk, she just picked up on that small detail and acted on it right away and i think that’s pretty darn stinking cute
