My biggest pet peeve with RWBY is still that we didn't get any of Team RWBY meeting the Menagerie cast in V6. No Ilia meeting the girls, no Yang meeting the Belladonnas, nothing. I blame people complaining about stuff like the house from V5 making them dive right into the action with V6.
i feel like we’re gonna get yang meeting the belladonnas EVENTUALLY but it wont be for awhile yet. it’s just too much of a good opportunity to pass up yknow?
but i will ALWAYS BE SO UPSET that ilia didn’t talk to anyone else in team rwby on the train station thEY WERE ALL RIGHT RIGHT THERE!!!! RIGHT IN FRONT OF EACH OTHER
i wish ilia had a deeper scene too, but as much as it pains me (in a loving way) to admit, it was good that sun had that bigger moment in pointing out yang “you’re with who you’re supposed to be with” and the “it was never about [letting her go]” to neptune, like that was important to establish that he had moved on from blake and knew that she needed to mend things with (her team) yang
but man i wish ilia could have been seen losing her entire MIND over yang. like…. soon crwby…. pls…. let the biggest lesbians drool over blake together….. let them talk about their romantic feels for her…. let ilia pull the “best friend” card on yang and give her the whole “i’ll fucking kill you if you hurt her” speech (in love) like GIMMIE YANG AND ILIA INTERACTIONS all the shippers will come flocking out of the woodwork i swear just like we all did when that FB moment happened in v5 skhskghkgh
