i USED to write consistently around 1-3k kinds of one-shots honestly, but idk what happened in the recent year/year-ish that now my one-shots have gotten longer (and also i recently participated in the bumbleby big bang and the word count minimum was 15k and i worried about NOT being able to make that minimum … and then somehow ended up writing 62k ?????)

but i do prefer shorter fics over all – or at the very least, writing shorter-ish chapters. but planning multichaps ….. hard…… D:
